How small companies can take advantage of LinkedIn.

I was invited to attend the LinkedIn’s Marketing Solution conference yesterday where they invited over 300 LinkedIn users in Vancouver to attend. The most important thing I learned from the conference is the importance of content marketing.

What does that mean? It means that consumers are more likely to “follow” your company or find you on Google, if you are constantly posting rich, accurate, and useful content. For example, if you’re an owner of a business card company and you want to be on the top of Google, try writing blog posts on the different types of font sizes, paper quality etc…and how they can attract different people’s attention. People will more likely follow you and go on your website to read your contents. Once you have the users attention on your site, then the likelihood of generating a sale will increase substantially.
